The wait is over - you can now update your AT&T Tilt to Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional.  The update flashes your handheld's ROM with the new OS, so all data is wiped.  Be sure to sync and backup before installing.

Motorola has two new Windows Mobile touchscreen smartphones on the way, the Motorola Alexander and the Motorola Atila.  Similar in features and design, the Alexander features a slide-to-hide QWERTY keyboard, while the Atila is a touch-centric slab.  Both are due out at the end of the year.

Samsung has released a Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional upgrade for the popular SCH-i760.  Other added features of the ROM update include YouTube video support and a number of system fixes.
