Updated November 2010: AT&T Mobility
was the last of the four major U.S. carriers to add a version of the HTC Touch Pro2: the AT&T Tilt 2. And although it's still available for purchase, with the release of Windows Phone 7 smartphones, its end is likely near.
The HTC Touch Pro2 is larger than the previous Touch Promodel, mainly to accommodate its 3.6-inch WVGA flip-up touchscreen display. The screen tilts up to reveal a QWERTY keyboard beneath, like the AT&T Tilt before it.
Features include a 528MHz Qualcomm CPU, 512MB of flash ROM, 256MB of RAM, 802.11g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G Mobile Broadband, a 3.2MP camera, a microSDHC flash memory card slot and a 1500mAh Li-Ion battery.
Unlike other versions of the Touch Pro2, which shipped with Windows Mobile 6.1, the Tilt 2
comes with Windows Mobile 6.5 pre-installed.
