The Cingular 8100 and 8125 are similar in design to the HTC Apache - the manufacturer's name for the Sprint PCS PPC-6700. Like the Apache, the 8100 Series Pocket PC Phones have integrated QWERTY keyboards that extend to the side. Cingular's internal specs are a bit more modest, however, as the 8100s' processor is a 200MHZ TI OMAP processor rather than the PPC-6700's 412MHZ XScale. On the up-side, the slower processor helps lengthen battery life.
Other Cingular 8125 / 8100 features include a 128MB ROM, 64MB of RAM, Bluetooth, 802.11b Wi-Fi, and a miniSD flash memory card slot.
The Cingular 8125 and 8100 have been discontinued, but may still be available from select online retailers.
