Windows Phone Smartphone Information Center (Updated January 2013)
Windows Phone 7 replaced Windows Mobile as Microsoft's consumer smartphone operating system in late 2010. The first generation of smartphones running the Windows Phone 7 OS were available in 2011, and second generation models running Windows Phone 8 are debuting now and will continue to do so throughout 2013.
