The iPAQ rz1715 is an affordable entry-level
Pocket PC with scaled-down features, designed primarily for basic PIM functionality and limited multimedia use.
Like
the discontinued iPAQ
1935,
this model is powered by a Samsung S3C2410 processor
running at 203MHz, which may seem slow in comparison
with the 624MHz processors that drive Pocket
PCs like the Dell
X51v,
but our usability speed tests found the iPAQ 1935 to
be more than adequate for PIM uses.
The iPAQ rz1715 runs Windows Mobile 2003, not WM2003
SE, and features a total of 25MB free storage
space (15MB of RAM plus 10MB File Store ROM
space).
Bottom
line: The iPAQ rx1715 is a base model good for PIM functions. If you're expecting to store any kind of
multimedia files, you'll have to have a Secure
Digital flash memory
card.
