The iPAQ 1910 was the first completely
redesigned iPAQ Pocket PC released after the original
iPAQ design. The 1910 was HP's second try at a low
range Pocket PC, the first being the monochrome
3100 series. But unlike the 3100, the iPAQ 1910
was a hit. Practically the only downside to the
entirely new form factor is that the 1900 series
is incompatible with all existing iPAQ expansion
packs. While the 1910 helped set a new course for
Pocket PCs, it had a relatively short life.
The chief complaints against the 1910 were leveled
at its sluggish performance and practically nonexistent
expansion options. HP has released two excellent
successors to correct each problem, the iPAQ
1945 and the iPAQ
1935.
