The
new iPAQ hx2110 Pocket PC is the entry handheld
in the iPAQ hx2000 Series. The hx2000
Series consists of three models,
the hx2110, hx2410,
and hx2750. The
hx2110 (also sold as the hx2115) carries a
suggested retail price of $350 and offers less
features than its sister units, making
2110 more affordable.
Much
like the rx3000 Series, the three hx2000 series
iPAQs will share a base
design; with the exception of the hx2750's biometric
fingerprint reader, all three models are
visually identical. Unlike
the rx3000 Series, the hx2000 iPAQs
are aimed at business users rather than mobile
multimedia enthusiasts.
The
iPAQ hx2110 is powered by the 312MHz PXA270 XScale
processor, has Bluetooth wireless radio onboard,
and offers over 70MB of free memory.
