In
late 2003, HP released two new iPAQ Pocket PCs,
the iPAQ 4355 and the iPAQ
4155. The iPAQ 4355 represented the third major
departure from the first iPAQ design
released in 2000.
The iPAQ 4355 - also sold as
the 4350 - was the first iPAQ to feature an
onboard thumb keyboard, which is also backlit.
Powered by a 400MHz PXA255 XScale processor,
the unit has 64MB of RAM and both Bluetooth
and 802.11b Wi-Fi onboard.
The iPAQ 4355 has now been discontinued, but continues to be available via multiple retailers.
