The iPAQ rx5915 Travel Companion represents a new push by HP to expand the functionality of their popular iPAQ line of Pocket PCs; the rx5915 is a hybrid PDA and GPS navigation assistant rolled into one.
Built around the same design as the iPAQ rx4000 Series Pocket PCs (which are not available in the U.S.), the rx5915 is a bit larger and includes extra hardware controls. The additional size and controls accommodate the rx5915's onboard SiRFstarIII GPS receiver, which gives the new iPAQ its classification as a "Travel Companion." The rx5915 features 2GB of internal storage, more onboard memory than any Pocket PC ever released. Other features include 802.11g Wi-Fi and an anti-glare QVGA display. Like the iPAQ rx4000 handhelds, the rx5915 is powered by a 400MHz Samsung processor and features 64MB of system memory.
