According to the BoyGeniusReport, Motorola is readying a Windows Mobile Pro touchscreen smartphone, the Motorola Alexander. At this point we don't know a great deal about the Alexander, but as you can see in the photo to the left, it includes a slide-to-hide keyboard.
There is some debate as to whether or not the OS shown in the photo is a modified version of Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional or the upcoming Windows Mobile 7, but the Alexander will run a touchscreen version of WinMo. The Alexander is rumored to have an 8MP digital camera (yeah, 8 megapixels), an NVIDIA graphics processor, and onboard GPS.
At this point, information regarding the Motorola Alexander is sparse. Release could be as soon as late 2008 or early 2009. Additional information regarding the Motorola Alexander will be posted here as it becomes available.
