Merging the Click Wheel introduced
on the iPod mini and the color screen from the iPod Photo, Apple's
4th Generation (4G) iPod has a sleeker, more colorful interface
than any of its predecessors.
A new power system allows the 4th Gen iPod to run
for up to 15 hours per charge, offering four additional
hours over 3G iPods.
The 4G iPod is also
thinner and offers improved software which makes
shuffling music and listening to Audiobooks easier
than before.
Best of all, prices
are a bit more reasonable than in the past. The 20GB iPod has an MSRP of $299, while the 60GB version retails for only $399.
