October 9, 2006 - While Windows Mobile 5 may still seem new to most of us, images have surfaced which seem to indicate that the next version of Windows Mobile, code named "Crossbow," is well on its way.  The leaked Today Screen screen shot (left) shows a glassy, glowing theme, very similar to that of the upcoming Windows Vista operating system.  Even the icons look Vista-born.

Could Crossbow be Windows Mobile 6, or perhaps Windows Mobile 5 Second Edition (SE)?  Could Crossbow be ready for installation on new devices by January 2007?
