The Kaiser will run Windows Mobile 6 Professional, the successor to Windows Mobile 5 for Pocket PC Phone Edition. Other features include a 400MHz Samsung ARM-based processor, a 256MB flash drive, 64MB of system memory, an integrated GPS receiver, a 2.8" QVGA display, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 and compatibility with HSDPA high-speed wireless networks.
There are reports that HTC is aiming for a June 2007 release, but there's no word on pricing or carrier availability. It's a fairly safe bet, however, that the Kaiser will bear the AT&T logo when it arrives in the United States, and the handset may prove to be the the official replacement to the AT&T 8525.
