Pocket PC Central has been told by an online source that the Samsung SPH-i325 Ace will begin shipping on February 17, 2008. Sprint Wireless will be carrying the Ace, which is essentially a CDMA version of the BlackJack II.

A slide from Bill Gates’ keynote address at CES 2008 has given us a possible glimpse at the upcoming Palm Drucker a.k.a. Palm Treo 800w. Due in mid-2008, the Drucker will run Windows Mobile 6.1 and feature Wi-Fi, GPS and UMTS/HSDPA connectivity.

SanDisk announced a new 12GB microSDHC flash memory card for smartphones, PDAs and MP3 players at CES 2008. We don’t yet have any price or availability details for the 12GB card, but those with microSDHC compatible card slots in their devices will be able to add more than 4GB of additional data above the currently-available 8GB capacity.

The card will likely be available in mid-to-late 2008.
HP made several new PDA and Smartphone announcements in late 2007, and now there appears to be at least two new additions to the 2008 family of iPAQ handhelds. The HP iPAQ Silver (seen below, right) is a Windows Mobile 6 Standard Smartphone (non-touchscreen) set to debut in mid-2008.
There’s also a WM6 Pro device, the iPAQ Oak (seen above, left), which has a slider design, Wi-Fi, GPS, and HSDPA.
