T-Mobile myTouch 3G Android Smartphone

The T-Mobile myTouch 3G was the second Android Smartphone on the market in the U.S., as well as the second Android OS handset sold by T-Mobile.

There were some improvements over the T-Mobile G1, most notably its more streamlined design and larger onboard storage capacity; but the myTouch also lacked the G1's hardware QWERTY keyboard.

Most other myTouch 3G (HTC Sapphire 300) specs were the same as those found on the G1: a 528Mhz Qualcomm processor, 192MB of system memory (RAM), a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and a 3MP camera.

The T-Mobile myTouch3G is available in three colors -- Black (seen left), White and Merlot -- with an MSRP of $199 with a two-year service agreement.

While not officially discontinued, the MyTouch 3G has been replaced by the MyTouch 4G, which is now available for purhcase from T-Mobile.
