Motorola Q9m Smartphone
The Motorola Q9 is the follow-up to the very successful Motorola Q and represents a new generation of powerful Windows Mobile non-touchscreen smartphones. The Q Music 9m (seen left) is the Verizon Wireless version of the handheld (CDMA), featuring a slightly different design than the GSM/HSDPA Q9, which is coming soon from AT&T Mobile. The Q Music 9m runs Windows Mobile 6 Standard and features a general physical makeover, giving it a curvier and more SLVR-like appearance.
At 0.47-inches thick, the Motorola Q9m is a hair thicker than the 0.45-inch Motorola Q. Like the Motorola Q, the Q9m does not have a touchscreen. Other features include a paltry 64MB of unused internal flash memory, USB, a miniSD card slot, a 1.3MP digital camera (good for still image and video capture up to 30fps), and Bluetooth. The CDMA Q9m does not support Verizon's EV-DO Rev. A.
The Motorola Q Music 9m can be purchased from Verizon Wireless online for $250 after an online-only rebate. Other online retailers are offering better deals.
