Sprint Touch WM6 Pro Smartphone
The Sprint Touch (the Sprint-branded version of the HTC Touch, or more accurately the HTC Vogue) is a touch-centric Windows Mobile device featuring HTC's TouchFLO user interface; with TouchFLO, the screen can detect the difference between the touch of a finger and the tap of a stylus; the screen can also accept "sweeps" of the finger as different commands. This is similar to, though not as sophisticated as, the multi-touch interface found on the Apple iPhone.
Sprint's CDMA version of the Touch has a more respectable feature set than its GSM sibling; the handset is powered by a 400MHz CPU, and includes 128MB of RAM, 256MB of flash memory, and compatibility - at least via a software update - with EV-DO Rev A. Other features Windows Mobile 6 Professional, Bluetooth 2.0 wireless, and a 2MP digital camera. A microSD card slot with SDHC support and an 1100mAh Li-Ion battery round out the feature list.
Available now, the Sprint Touch is $249 after a service agreement and mail-in rebate. You can find better deals at third-party retailers by using the drop-down menu below.
