e805 Pocket PC
Toshiba's
e805 Pocket PC ushered in a new era in Pocket
PCs by featuring the first VGA display found
on a PDA. Other VGA Pocket PCs soon followed,
such as the iPAQ hx4705 and
the Dell
Axim X50v.
Powered by a 400MHz PXA263 XScale processor, the
e805 includes 128MB of RAM, a 32MB ROM and
an additional 32MB of flash ROM memory for
a non-volatile file store. The e805 also boasts
onboard 802.11b Wi-Fi, CompactFlash and Secure
Digital slots. An integrated ATI Graphics
Controller rounds out this high-end list of
features with 2MB of onboard video memory.
