Sold by Verizon Wireless, the Palm Treo 700w represented the third-generation Treo design with a Palm-tweaked version of the Windows Mobile 5.0 OS. A Palm OS version of the 700w, the Palm Treo 700p, was also sold alongside.
The Windows Mobile Treo is EV-DO compatible and features a 1MP digital camera, Bluetooth, 60MB of user accessible memory and a Secure Digital slot with support for SDIO peripherals. The 700w does not have onboard Wi-Fi, but it is compatible with supported SDIO Wi-Fi cards.
The cost of the Treo 700w was as low as $299 with certain contract agreements and third-party rebates.
