The upcoming Palm Treo 800w, code-named "Drucker," will be released on or around July 13, as the successor to the aging Treo 700wx. The Drucker is a Windows Mobile 6 Professional (touchscreen) Smartphone, running the Windows Mobile 6.1 OS.
According to available information, the Drucker will feature a 320x320 touchscreen display and a 2MP digital camera. There's no hard data on processor, though we have speculative specs of a 333MHz ARM-based processor, nor is there data on onboard memory. The Treo 800w does have a microSDHC flash memory slot for up to 16GB of storage.
The Palm Treo 800w is currently scheduled for a July 13, 2008 release by Sprint, though availability could well be moved. The 800w will initially be released in the United States as a CDMA handset on the Sprint wireless network with EV-DO Rev.A wireless broadband; a GSM version may also be made available in the U.S. at some point.
